Dr. Angela Noe

Hi, my name is Dr. Angela Noe, but you can call me Angie.

I’m a licensed clinical psychologist specializing in psychological testing and the diagnosis and treatment of ADHD, mood disorders (bipolar disorder, depression), anger and emotion regulation difficulties, communication skill issues, adjustment disorders, impulse control disorders, behavioral disorders, narcissistic abuse syndrome, and many other presenting concerns.

Therapy With Me

Therapy clients tend to describe me as down to earth, nonjudgmental, direct, and never boring.

I’m very intuitive, and I tend to pick up on what people mean even when they don’t quite have words for it yet. I notice when something feels “off” or unfinished and I’ll gently name it so we can look at it together. I’m straightforward, but I’m also easy to talk to — I use humor when it helps take the pressure off, and I don’t make people feel judged. My style is honest, curious, and collaborative: I actually engage with you. Clients often tell me that I “get it” quickly and that they feel understood without having to over-explain themselves.

I’m also the type of therapist who doesn’t mind cursing, and I make frequent references to memes. My therapy dog Diamond will make an appearance during sessions, too 🙂

Who I Work Best With

I work best with people who know something in their life isn’t lining up the way it should anymore and are ready to actually do something about it — even if they don’t know what that “something” is yet.

  • Individuals struggling with ADHD and/or a mood disorder (e.g., depression, bipolar disorder) who want to learn how to manage their symptoms
  • Children and teens with oppositional defiant disorder (ODD) or disruptive mood dysregulation disorder (DMDD)
  • Teens (therapy) & behavior management with parents
  • First responders
  • Survivors of narcissistic abuse
  • Clients who want help with communication, coping, and/or anger management
  • People involved with the legal system in some way

I’m especially effective with clients who feel misunderstood, “hard to read,” or who are used to masking and staying in survival mode. Over time, people usually see major shifts in self-confidence, clarity, and emotional regulation — they set better boundaries, trust themselves more, and stop feeling like they have to shrink or over-explain just to get through life.
